The Coppice Theatre is Lancashire's newest and most exciting venue, situated in the heart of Accrington & Rossendale College's £16 million campus.
The theatre was built with the needs of performers in mind and comes equipped with state of the art lighting and sound equipment and experienced technicians who can guarantee your show runs smoothly.
With the latest modular staging, we can ensure that we can provide the perfect environment for everything from stand up comedy and bands to larger dance and theatre troupes.
This is complemented with comfortable, tiered seating which provides a maximum capacity of 160 audience members, or the pullout seating can easily be put away if you feel your event would be better suited to a 'standing only' audience.
The theatre offers ample car parking space right next to the venue, which has been designed with disability access in mind.
Our premises are fully licensed, with the refreshment area ideally situated next to the Coppice theatre for pre show and interval drinks and snacks.
With the needs of performers in mind, we have created a comfortable back stage area, complete with dressing rooms and shower.

The Forest
1920
On the outskirts of an English village lies The Forest. A place where the children play, a place of light, and games and laughter. A place where taboos are broken and first love is explored, until one day a discovery and lives changed forever
1925
An old family feud reignited by a fateful discovery. Children who once played now fight and The Forest becomes a place to hide, a place to hurt and to deceive.
The Forest
A story about children coming of age, about loss of innocence and about life in a time about to be lost forever. Two stories, two times run parallel towards an unknown destiny. Will the children play again in the forest? Or will it continue to be a place of sadness and darkness?
