Cornwall College St Austell Residency

The Coppice team are delighted to be working in partnership with The Creative & Digital Academy at Cornwall College St Austell as Company in Residence for their Level 3 Acting Diploma, ‘Launch Theatre & Performance Training’. Alongside working in the college's fantastic facilities to create our up coming winter show, we will also be working with the Acting students in a series of weekly workshops, offering work experience placements and bringing shows to their theatre space, The Keay Theatre.

The Creative & Digital Academy has a renowned reputation for its performing arts courses which enable students to progress to some of the most prestigious performing arts schools and conservatoires in the country. The facilities are amazing and include The Keay Theatre, professional dance studios, and rehearsal and performance spaces.

The Level 3 Acting Diploma develop fundamental performance skills through a range of projects over two years of study including Contemporary Theatre, Classical Theatre, Film & TV Acting, Storytelling Theatre, Site Specific Performance, Musical Theatre, Interactive Dining Performances, Physical Theatre and their annual Horror Walk.

Students are given the opportunity to express creativity and devise performances, by forming a theatre company that replicates the industry, with the opportunity to take on performance and production roles in at least 5 performances per year!
